Ghouls/Revanants
These rules are for players coming in as ghouls/revenants or ghouled in game. NOT NPC ghouls. NPC ghouls should be basic in creation, and are not to be used as secondary characters in play. They can answer the door, serve a beverage, drive a car etc. but if they are sent off to do a task, that will all be done in the players forum and not as an actual thread. NPC ghouls are in essence controlled by staff. Players with NPC ghouls will also need to give staff an idea of how the relationship between the Dominator and ghoul plays out.
Prioritize the three categories: Physical, Social, Mental (6/4/3). Your character automatically has one dot in each Attribute.
Rate Physical Traits: Strength, Dexterity, Stamina
Rate Social Traits: Charisma, Manipulation, Appearance
Rate Mental Traits: Perception, Intelligence, Wits
Select Abilities
Prioritize the three categories: Talents, Skills, Knowledges (11/7/4). Choose Talents, Skills, Knowledges No Ability should be higher than a 3 at this stage.
Select Advantages
Choose Disciplines. Vassals may assign one dot in a Discipline that makes sense for their characters to have. Independent ghouls may select one dot in any Discipline,
at the Storyteller’s discretion. Revenants may spend a dot to add a Discipline that is commonly used by their
families. All ghouls and revenants also obtain 1 dot in Potence, regardless.
Choose Backgrounds (5) and rate Virtues (5 for revenants and 7 for all other vassals and independent ghouls). All characters automatically gain one dot in each Virtue.
Finishing Touches
Calculate and record Humanity. Add Conscience and Self-Control.
Record Willpower, which is equal to Courage, and Blood Point (1) regardless of age.
Spend Freebie points (21).
Spend bonus XP (35)
Optional: Choose Merits and Flaws. The sum of your Merits and Flaws cannot exceed 7 points.
For players opting to play ghouls to players, the level of disciplines able to be learned is going to be based on your donor's generation.
