Clans of the Camarilla:
Assamite Schismatics [Open]
Brujah [Open]
Lasombra anti tribu - restricted, be prepared for ostrasized and will need a write up as to why they left the Sword of Caine and why they are in Chicago
Malkavian [Open]
Nosferatu [Open]
Toreador [Open]
Tremere [Open] - you want to play this clan you need to be familiar with the intricacies of the clan's inner workings - namely, the Pyramid
Ventrue [Open] - you want to play this clan you need to be familiar with the intricacies of the clan's inner workings - namely, Dignitas. The OWbN Dignitas Guide has a lot of great information on this and can be used in game.
The Assamite Schism has occurred, and the Schismatics have largely chosen to join or support the Camarilla in whatever city they have chosen to make their home. The Tremere curse is broken.
The Gangrel have departed the Camarilla, with Xavier officially resigning his seat as Justicar in 2001. The fractious Gangrel Clan members, however, have taken their own counsel on whether to join him in the exodus.
Independents
Caitiff [Open - but expect to be ostracized]
Gangrel [Open]
Giovanni [open]
Ravnos [ open but limited - their numbers are still limited.]
Not allowed:
Sabbat anti tribu of the Camarilla clans
Followers of Set - not playable for this chronicle.
Bloodlines
Bloodlines. A tricky topic here as everyone wants to be..."special".Anyone wishing to play a bloodline must be able to write a well thought out background, show an understanding of the bloodline and a legitimate reason for said blood line being in Chicago as well as an understanding of said blood line with an amazing write up. But, there are bloodlines that are an absolute no-no. Don't even ask, do not try and convince me why you should be allowed to play one. The answer is a hard firm "no". Also blood lines are restricted, they are not numerous and I reserve the right to put a cap on them in the game.
Information in the Lore of the Bloodlines 20th anniversary book will not be use. Some of the revision were just once again in typical White Wolf manner contradicts earlier information. Which also means no Merits or flaws from this book as well.
And some blood lines we will be using different sources and thus variations because those variations work better for this game.
Allowed:
Assamite [restricted] Sorcerer and vizers
Daughters of Cacophony - [ restricted] as written up in the core 20th anniversary book
Kiasyd [resricted ] - to 1 PC in play we will be using the write up done in the story tellers vault.
Ravnos Brahman and Phuri Dae Jati (castes) [resricted - for the same reason the main clan is, very few numbers]
What is Not Allowed:
Blood lines with strong ties to the Sabbat. There are some blood lines that despite being a 'variation' of the original still have strong Sabbat ties or still pay the sect lip service.
Baali
Cappadocians
Children of Osiris
City Gangrel
Country Gangrel
Gargoyles
Nagaraja
Nickutu
True Brujah
Salubri
